Bromley has the community.

About

MEET BROMLEY AI.
A LOCAL GROUP,
FOR LOCAL PEOPLE.

Bromley AI is a community-run group for anyone who lives, works or spends time in Bromley and the wider BR postcodes. We meet in person, in plain English, to learn about AI — what it is, what it isn't, and how it's changing life and work around us.

We're proudly inclusive. Pensioners and teenagers, shopkeepers and software engineers, carers, students, freelancers and the simply curious — there's a seat for you. No jargon, no hype, no fear. Just neighbours figuring it out together.

Try chat AI

BEYOND THE
USUAL NAMES.
TRY THESE CHATS.

Most people only know one or two chatbots. This list mirrors the AI Nexus LLM directory, plus Z.AI — with links straight to each chat or playground. Flags show where each provider is headquartered. Some services need a free account or may be region-limited. Free tiers vary; always check each provider's terms.

15 chat tools listed. All links open in a new tab.

AI assistants

ASSISTANTS
THAT CAN
ACT FOR YOU.

Chatbots answer questions. These newer assistants can take the next step — texting, booking, and working across your apps. Each link goes to the maker's own page. Access, price and which countries they work in all differ, and some are not in the UK yet.

FAQ

THE BASICS,
ANSWERED.

Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. We're built for everyone — whether you've never touched AI or you build with it every day. Beginners are genuinely welcome.
How much does the launch cost?
The first launch is a paid event: £10 entry. That covers the evening at Crofton Halls on Thursday 26 November 2026, 5pm to 7pm. Join the mailing list and we'll send booking details when tickets open.
Why is the first event paid?
Crofton Halls is a hired venue. The £10 ticket pays for the room, and for tea and coffee on the night, so we can put the launch on without a sponsor. It is the entry price for this first event, not a membership fee.
Where and when is the launch?
Thursday 26 November 2026, 5pm to 7pm (17:00–19:00), at Crofton Halls, York Rise, Orpington, BR6 8PR — next to Orpington station.
I'm worried AI will take jobs — is this for me?
Yes, especially. We talk honestly about what AI means for work locally, and help people learn the skills and tools that make a real difference.
Can young people attend?
Absolutely. Under-16s are welcome with a parent or guardian. We love having students and teenagers in the room.
I have access needs.
Please tell us — we'll do everything we can. Venues will be step-free where possible, and we'll always have quiet seating, large-print materials, and friendly volunteers on hand.
